Should the Martin County School District continue to offer "courtesy busing" to students inside a 2-mile radius even though it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars a year?

If so, should "courtesy busing" be limited to just elementary school students?

Under current Florida statute, buses are provided to students who would face “hazardous walking condition,” defined in part by speed limits and traffic volumes. Under this definition, some intersections along U.S. 1 are considered “safe.” Would you let your child walk across U.S. 1?
